Directions To Surfari Gloucester

From Boston and Points South and West

Surfari Gloucester is open seven days a week, year round for all your surfing, stand up paddle and beach needs. We sell surfboards, stand up paddle boards, skimboards, bodyboards, wetsuits, clothing, swim wear, sunglasses, flip flops, gifts and all the accessories you need to get wet! We also offer lessons and rentals. Come on by and we will equip you to get out and enjoy the water fun you can handle on Cape Ann! Surfari is a quick ride from Boston and easy to access from points south and west of the city.

Public Transportation

Surfari is a 1.5 mile walk from the Gloucester MBTA commuter rail station on the Rockport line. Get on at North Station in Boston and get off at the Gloucester Station on Railroad Ave. You can walk, Uber or take a bus to Surfari from the train station.

Via Car

Out of Boston take Rt 93 North or Route 1 North. Get onto Rt 128 North and head toward Gloucester. At the first roundabout, take the second exit onto Yankee Division Highway and go .8 miles. At the second roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Yankee Division Highway down the hill. Drive straight through the first light and then keep left as you continue on Yankee Division Hwy. At the second light take a left onto Bass Ave. Continue until you reach our parking lot and store at 88 Bass Ave which will be on your left.

From Points North

Take Rt. 95 or Rt 1 south. Get off at Rt 62 E in Danvers. Get onto Rt 128 North towards Gloucester. At the first roundabout, take the second exit onto Yankee Division Highway and go .8 miles. At the second roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Yankee Division Highway down the hill. Drive straight through the first light and then keep left as you continue on Yankee Division Hwy. At the second light take a left onto Bass

Driving From Good Harbor Beach or Long Beach

From the beach parking lots head west on Thatcher Rd. At the stop sign turn right onto Bass Ave and go 550' and then turn right into our parking lot and store at 88 Bass Ave.

Walking From Good Harbor Beach

Cross the pedestrian bridge at the West end of Good Harbor Beach. Take a right onto Nautilus Rd and walk 350'. The road bears to the left and turns into Bass Ave. Walk .2 miles on Bass Ave and then turn right into our parking lot and store at 88 Bass Ave.
