Surf into September! The start of surf season is upon us and we have already scored one solid tropical swell courtesy of Hurricane Larry... there are even a couple of other systems of interest in the Atlantic as we speak. The water is still warm, the lifeguards are gone, parking is free again and you can surf all day everyday! The passing of Labor Day rings the start of wave season to all the swell starved surfers here on Cape Ann and the rest of New England.
The shop is packed with new surfboards, wetsuits and all the accessories you need to get in the water for a fun filled fall of surf. We are open six days a week and are closed on Tuesdays. We are also stocked with rental surfboards and wetsuits if you don't have your own gear or forgot something at home.
For those of you who have never surfed we are still offering private surf lessons for one to twelve surfers. If you are interested in meeting new surfers while you learn we have a Women's Surf Night every Sunday through the end of October. There is also a Teen/Tween Surf Night on Fridays that runs through Columbus Day Weekend on October.
We hope to see you out on the water or in our shop at 88 Bass Ave which is a 450 yard walk from the bridge at Good Harbor Beach.
P.S. you can park on Nautilus Rd again!
