Surfari Gloucester is open seven days a week, year round for all your surfing, stand up paddle and beach needs. We sell surfboards, stand up paddle boards, skimboards, bodyboards, wetsuits, clothing, swim wear, sunglasses, flip flops, gifts and all the accessories you need to get wet! We also offer lessons and rentals. Come on by and we will equip you to get out and enjoy the water fun you can handle on Cape Ann! Surfari is a quick ride from Boston and easy to access from points south and west of the city.

From Boston and Points South and West

Public Transportation

Surfari is a ten minute/half mile walk from the Gloucester MBTA commuter rail station on the Rockport line. Get on at North Station in Boston and get off at the Gloucester Station on Railroad Ave. Head east on Railroad Ave toward Pearl St. Turn left onto Prospect St. Turn right onto Pleasant St. Turn left onto Main St and Surfari will be on your left at 210 Main St.

Via Car

Out of Boston take Rt 93 North or Route 1 North. Get onto Rt 128 North and head toward Gloucester. At the first traffic circle, take the first exit onto Washington St and go .7 miles. Turn left onto Prospect St and go .4 miles. Turn right onto Chestnut St and go down the hill .2 miles. Turn right onto Main St and Surfari will be on your right after passing the laundromat. There is metered parking Monday through Saturday 9am to 6pm. Parking is $.25 for 30 minutes.

From Points North

Take Rt. 95 or Rt 1 south. Get off at Rt 62 E in Danvers. Get onto Rt 128 North towards Gloucester. At the first traffic circle, take the first exit onto Washington St and go .7 miles. Turn left onto Prospect St and go .4 miles. Turn right onto Chestnut St and go down the hill .2 miles. Turn right onto Main St and Surfari will be on your right after passing the laundromat. From Good Harbor Beach, Gloucester

Take a left out of the Good Harbor Beach parking lot and head west on Thatcher Rd for .7 miles. At the stop sign turn right onto Bass Ave and go .5 miles. Go through the traffic light and continue onto E Main St for .4 miles. Take a slight right at the fork onto Main St and go .3 miles. Surfari will be on the your right as you pass the laundromat.
