Christmas is coming and the next couple of days are going to be a holy frenzy of online holiday ordering and shipping. Below are the 2023 shipping deadlines for USPS and UPS to get something for Christmas. We try to ship our orders out the same day that they come in but I am going to add on an extra day for processing just to be sure.
We currently do not ship surfboards, stand up paddle boards, skimboards or skateboards. Those items are available to order online but they are all in store pick up only. Pretty much everything else in the store can be ordered and shipped to all fifty states.
USPS Holiday Shipping Deadlines
- First-Class Mail - Order by Friday December 15th so it ships out by Saturday December 16th
- USPS Retail Ground - Order by Friday December 15th so it ships out by Saturday December 16th
- Priority Mail - Order by Sunday December 17 so it ships out by Monday December 18th
- Priority Mail Express - Order by Tuesday December 19th so it ships out by Wednesday December 20th
UPS Holiday Shipping Deadlines
- Ground - (click link above to calculate time)
- 3 Day Select - Order by Monday December 18th so it ships out by Tuesday December 19th
- 2nd Day Air - Order by Tuesday December 19th so it ships out by Wednesday December 20th
- Next Day Air - Order by Wednesday December 20th so it ships out by Thursday December 21st
As always mileage may vary... obviously items will ship a little faster if you are sending them to someone in New England as opposed to Florida or California. If you are having the item shipped somewhere local here in New England you can push the limits and ship a little past these dates...
When in doubt you can always purchase a Surfari Gift Card online. Gift Card codes are emailed instantly to the recipient and require no shipping! Our Gift Cards are good both in our physical store at 88 Bass Ave, Gloucester as well as at our online store.
